Wonderful book!

Hi Sharon,

I wanted to share with you that I really enjoyed your book.  You mentioned many musicals that I am not familiar with and many that I know word for word.

I was a voice major in college and have a degree in music education.  I've been teaching music for 9 years and keep getting thrown  for a loop.  This is the second time that it looks like my job is getting cut out of the budget.  I've also endured the non-renewed for no reasons specified clause twice before.  It makes me seriously doubt why anyone would want to go into education (well...except for the wonderful kids I get to teach).

I'm no stranger to the dieting side of things either.  It seems when life throws a loop at my I turn to food.  I know how to lose weight, I've done it many times.  I just can't seem to maintain it when things I can't control upset my life.  When I discovered low-carb in 2000 it was a life saver, I finally lost the weight that I gained with my first daughter in 1993.  I am still a member of Active Low Carber Forums and I used to be a moderator there, giving out good advice to the newbies.  I have another daughter now, who is 4 and I've probably lost weight 4 times since she was born.  I lost 30 pounds from July this year until just before Christmas.  Right before my winter concert the band director and myself get called in to be told that we both might be out of a job next year.  January has been food disastrous.

Time to stop moping and start doing.

Beth
